The Man Beyond the Art

On April 24th, 2026 Steve passed away unexpectedly during a mountain bike ride in Lake Tahoe, CA. He was 71.

Steve was doing what he loved: riding his bike and spending time outdoors with his family.

Losing Steve in such a way meant his story, his work, and his journey felt--to those of use left behind--unfinished. But we don't want unfinished to be confused with incomplete. From art to adventure to his family and friends, Steve lived every moment of his abundant life to the fullest.
